Mark McGovern - Lead Pastor

Pastor Mark is the visionary of Remnant Church.  His dynamic message is igniting hearts in Fairfield and the surrounding region.  Pastor Mark lives to see people far from God fall in love with Jesus.  His innovative leadership inspires and challenges the body of Christ to LOVESTRONG.  At Remnant, Pastor Mark leads, develops, and empowers the entire staff.  He also creatively communicates the Gospel at worship experiences.  Pastor Mark is married to his beautiful wife Amanda, and they have one son, Max.

Amanda McGovern - Worship

Amanda has a great desire to see God pour out more of His presence and glory in the city of Fairfield.  Her passion is leading people to fall in love with Jesus in a deeper way through music.  Amanda is part of Remnant Church’s worship team.  She is happily married to Remnant Church’s Lead Pastor, Mark McGovern, and has one son, Max.

David Jackson - Plug In Pastor

David has a strong passion to live the Great Commandment and do the Great Commission.  His heart is to see the church extend beyond four walls to reach the city of Fairfield.  David leads the connection process at Remnant to make sure that each person finds their place through small groups and ServeStrong teams.  He also assists Pastor Mark in communicating the vision.  David has been blessed to have fallen in love with and married his best friend, Lara.

Lara Jackson - Wow Leader

Lara has a heart to see Fairfield and the surrounding region transformed by Jesus’ radical Love.  She leads the ServeStrong volunteer teams with the goal of creating a “Wow” experience for everyone who comes to Remnant Church.  Lara is married to her favorite person in the world and her love, David.

Gadi Rwayitare - Outreach Leader

Gadi’s heart is to see the people of Fairfield come to know the Father’s embrace and their identity in Christ.  He leads outreach events at Remnant Church.  He is the “go to” guy for special projects and the logistics involved with a growing church.

Ruby Knouse - Creative Leader
Ruby’s greatest hope is to positively influence the people that surround her for Jesus.  She desires to see and experience people falling in love with the Lord.  Ruby leads the creative and media teams at Remnant Church to communicate the Gospel and the vision of Remnant in relevant, powerful, and innovative ways.

Justin Gunter - Children's Director
Justin's heart is for God and for people...especially children! He hopes to one day fulfill his calling from God and plant orphanages around the world. Until that day comes, he is confidently serving God's calling for Remnant Church as the Children's Director, loving every minute he gets to lead Remnant's Children's Ministry: BIG!
